The Lowveld provides for a mild Winter with cool mornings and evenings, but beautiful days with sunshine and warmth. The summers are warm from early in the day until late in the evening with a touch of humidity and rain which then brings the temperatures down and the humidity up.
It would be beneficial to bring light clothing for the days in summer and protective clothing for the early mornings and late evenings as we are situated alongside the Kruger National Park where malaria is at times experienced in the summer months.
Do bring your swimming gear to cool down after a day spent on a safari, and a light waterproof jacket in case of a shower, with all the photographic equipment you enjoy using. A hat would be useful for protection in the sun.
In the winter light clothing will be good for during the day and warm jackets, closed shoes to keep you warm in the very early mornings and late evenings if you are out on a safari. Sunscreen, insect repellent and Malaria medication should be considered.
There are two shopping centres close to the Hotel and all necessities are available at these centres with medical facilities open 7 days a week. Should you require something specific please do ask Management.
